Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Video Journalist to join our team in Perth. As a Video Journalist, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality video content that drives the news bulletin every day.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented Video Journalist to work with us. Your primary responsibilities will include generating original daily story ideas for on-air and online presentations, interviewing, writing, and voicing skills, live broadcasting, developing and maintaining contacts in the community, research and preparing news reports, whether in the field or in the office, finding and writing feature stories in specific categories.

Responsibilities

About You

You will be a confident performer on camera, with excellent news gathering, writing, interviewing, and presenting skills. You will have the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:
  • Video journalism and editing experience
  • A full Australian driving license
  • Excellent communication and written skills
  • An understanding of Broadcast Law Guidelines
