Housing Shelter Program Coordinator

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Housing/Shelter Team Lead. This role provides leadership and support to both staff and residents at our shelter and housing sites.
About the RoleThe Team Lead will model important work habits, set the tone for each shift, and advocate for residents. They will resolve difficult or sensitive issues, respond to medical emergencies, and maintain a safe and welcoming environment for a marginalized population.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with all aspects of resident support plan development and delivery of services.
- Perform wellness checks and provide emotional support to residents.
- Assist residents with activities such as room cleaning, laundry, and maintenance tasks.
- Liaise with partner agencies and other professionals/support teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
The Team Lead will also be responsible for overseeing the daily functioning of the shelter/housing site, maintaining safety for all residents and staff.
Requirements- Diploma in a related human, social services field.
- Minimum of two (2) years recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
