Ecological Offset Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Ecological Offset Specialist to join our team. As an Ecological Offset Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting in the development of solutions for clients, focusing on ecological offset site identification using geospatial criteria.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project delivery in collaboration with the GIS team
  • Managing ecology projects related to renewables and industrial/residential development (50/50 split)
  • Utilizing QGIS for mapping, data automation, and application development on meaningful projects
  • Supporting ecological offsets market by providing site selection options via QGIS applications

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of GIS and spatial analysis
  • Experience with QGIS and its applications
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
