Water Treatment Quality Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Water Treatment Process Operator to join our team and contribute to the safe and efficient operation of our regional water treatment plants.
The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and optimising treatment processes to deliver high-quality drinking water to our communities.
About You- You will have a trade-level qualification in a relevant field such as mechanical or electrical engineering.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify and implement improvements to processes and procedures.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively under limited supervision.
- A valid driver's license is essential.
- Operate and maintain water treatment equipment to ensure compliance with drinking water quality guidelines.
- Perform routine plant maintenance and inspections to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with the Operations & Maintenance team to develop and improve operational procedures and methods.
- Participate in ongoing optimisation of water treatment processes to meet customer expectations.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Strong computer skills and software knowledge, including Microsoft Office.
- Trade qualifications and experience working in a team environment.
- Ability to work under limited direction and prioritise tasks effectively.
