About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Accountant/Cost Controller to join our team in Western Australia. As a key member of our project accounting team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely reporting of project financials, including cost control metrics, forecasting, and variance analysis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage project accounting activities, including cost control, progress claims, and generating project budgets and forecasts.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Analyze project financial data and provide recommendations for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
  • Collaborate with project managers to ensure accurate project forecasting and reporting.
  • Coordinate with corporate accounting to ensure accurate and timely project financial reporting.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
  • CPA or CMA certification preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in project accounting or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Experience with project accounting software and ERP systems.
