Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Leisure and Lifestyle Activities Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing engaging leisure and lifestyle activities that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver a range of leisure and lifestyle activities, including recreational, social, and therapeutic programs.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure that activities align with individualized care plans and promote overall well-being.
  • Lead groups and one-on-one sessions, using creative and innovative approaches to engage residents and foster meaningful interactions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external service providers, community groups, and local organizations to access resources and opportunities that enhance resident experiences.
Requirements:
  • Degree in a related field, such as recreation therapy or a similar discipline.
  • Proven experience in planning and delivering leisure and lifestyle activities in a residential setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with residents, families, and staff.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to scheduling and task management.
  • Certificate IV in Leisure and Lifestyle or equivalent qualifications.
