Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate individual to fill the role of Lifestyle Officer. This position involves driving engagement and participation of residents in social, recreational and cultural activities, as well as mental health and wellbeing programs.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum qualification in Cert IV in Leisure & Health and previous experience in an aged care setting. A strong understanding of work health and safety practices is also desirable.

About the Role:

In this role, you will be responsible for planning and organising all recreational activity and lifestyle programs to meet the needs, values, spiritual and cultural preferences of individual residents. You will also ensure that residents' choices and independence are empowered.

  • Plan and coordinate a range of social, recreational and cultural activities and events for residents.
  • Develop and implement mental health and wellbeing programs that promote resident choice and independence.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and support to residents.
Requirements:
  • Cert IV in Leisure & Health or equivalent qualification.
  • Previous experience in an aged care setting (advantageous).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • A commitment to providing high-quality care and support to residents.
