Speech Pathologist Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Pathologist to join our team in Cairns, Queensland.

About the Role
  • The successful candidate will have a strong background in speech pathology and experience working with diverse client groups.
  • High level knowledge and skills in contemporary clinical practice standards in rural and remote speech pathology are essential.
  • A deep understanding and commitment to work sensitively and effectively with First Nations communities and their leaders is required.
  • Experience or willingness to participate in the delivery of care through innovative service models, such as virtual health and a supervision and delegation model.

Position Requirements
  • Tertiary degree qualification in Speech Pathology.
  • Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist (CPSP) with three years or more experience.
  • Membership of Speech Pathology Australia.
  • Current Blue Card (Working with Children and young people) or willingness to apply for a Blue Card.
  • NDIS Worker Screening – Yellow Card.
  • Satisfactory National Police Certificate.
  • Current Drivers Licence (Qld 'C' class licence).
