About the Role

As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences and ensuring the efficient maintenance of Canon-supported products. Your primary objective will be to provide timely and accurate support to our customers, working closely with our team to identify and resolve product-related issues.

  • Reporting to your manager, you will ensure that all product failure trends and serviceability issues are accurately documented and recorded, enabling us to make informed decisions about product development and improvement.
  • You will meet customer demands by providing responsive and efficient field/shop/on-site maintenance, demonstrating strong communication skills and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
  • Properly maintaining all technical information, field service reports, expense reports, and assigned company property is essential to your success in this role.
  • Strong customer communication and satisfaction skills are crucial in this position, as you will be interacting with customers on a regular basis.
  • Maintaining the performance of assigned machines is also a key responsibility, requiring attention to detail and a proactive approach to equipment maintenance.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent experience required.
  • A basic understanding of internet environments and the ability to successfully complete an introductory period and a new-hire class.
  • The ability to travel, including holding a valid driver's license and having an acceptable driving record.
  • Security and/or other clearances may be required to enter customers' premises.
  • The ability to lift 50 pounds and be active more than 50 percent of the time (walking, standing, stooping/kneeling).
