Service Technician Job Description

This role offers a Monday to Friday schedule, providing weekends free for family and friends.

We are looking for individuals with mechanical aptitude, which we can develop through a program. Our talented technical training team will provide comprehensive training to help you succeed in your new career.

This position involves:

  • On-site inspections and testing of lifting equipment
  • Maintenance and service repairs on products
  • Building strong relationships with customers and providing advice on our products
  • 100% commitment to personal and business safety
  • Liaising with customers, their employees, and working on their worksites
  • Willingness to travel to customer locations, including overnight stays

Key requirements include:

  • Demonstrated technical service experience within a manufacturing background (preferred but not essential)
  • Mechanical aptitude, which we can develop through a program
  • Ability to develop strong professional relationships
  • Autonomy to work independently if required
  • Physical demands may be present, including working at heights
  • Flexibility for regular travel to customer sites
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Problem-solving and time management abilities
  • Basic computer literacy skills (email and Excel)
