As a skilled Fitter, you will play a vital role in maintaining the integrity of our equipment and machinery. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring that all operations run smoothly and efficiently.

The Role:

Working as part of our Maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, including the repair and overhaul of machinery and equipment. You will work closely with other team members to ensure that all tasks are completed safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

">

  • Maintain and operate the preventative maintenance program in a timely manner
  • Accurately report work undertaken and provide feedback on the condition of all equipment worked on
  • Deliver a prompt response for all requests for mechanical repairs
  • Assist in maintaining appropriate levels of spare equipment to ensure production reliability and minimize downtime

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

">

  • Qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or Certificate III Trade in Fitting and Turning
  • 3 years' experience in a similar role
  • Hydraulic and pneumatic experience
  • Welding and thermal cutting experience
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • A commitment to the safety and wellbeing of yourself and others
