Vessel Recovery Specialist

The primary objective of this position is to provide efficient management, coordination and disposal of all towed vehicle exhibits for the district.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough audits of computer records related to towed and exhibit vehicles to ensure quality assurance.
- Maintain control over and organize the disposal or destruction of towed vehicle exhibits in accordance with established procedures.
- Utilize various software applications to furnish regular and reliable statistical returns, including Microsoft Excel and QPRIME.
- Serve as a district point of contact for internal and external inquiries relating to towed vehicle exhibit legislation.
- Process financial administration activities, including expenditure and revenue for towed vehicle exhibits and auctioned vehicles through relevant systems.
- Support towed vehicle exhibit activities by addressing inquiries and complaints from police and members of the public.
- Communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of the Queensland Police Service and stakeholders, including towing contractors.
Applications should remain current for 12 months.
