Job Summary

We seek an experienced Senior Associate or Special Counsel to join our growing Insurance WA team, based in Darwin. This is a hands-on role offering significant learning and development opportunities, working closely with clients and highly regarded partners and lawyers.

About the Role

This is a challenging and exciting opportunity for a skilled lawyer to contribute to the growth and success of our insurance practice in Darwin. As a key member of our team, you will work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver exceptional legal services to corporate and private clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advise on workers' compensation matters, including statutory insurance and recoveries.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative solutions to complex legal issues.
  • Contribute to business development initiatives, identifying new opportunities and building relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • At least 5 years of post-admission experience within Workers' Compensation.
  • A strong understanding of relevant laws and regulations, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and clients.
