The Role: Construction Underwriter

We are seeking an experienced underwriter to join our team in a hybrid capacity. In this role, you will work closely with other underwriters to assess and quote risks, building strong relationships with stakeholders.

This position plays a key role in underwriting new and renewable construction insurance business, reporting to a director.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply in-depth knowledge to provide advice on construction insurance.
  • Prepare premium and policy terms for review by senior staff.
  • Evaluate compliance with laws and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Relevant underwriting experience in or knowledge of construction & engineering.
  • Understanding of relevant legislation and policy frameworks.
  • Advanced communication skills and ability to liaise/consult at all levels.
