Job Title: Truck Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Truck Mechanic to join our team at Parry Logistics, a family-owned transport business based in Tamworth NSW. As a Truck Mechanic, you will be responsible for serving and repairing vehicles to the highest standards, promoting customer satisfaction, and overseeing the work of apprentice technicians.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform repairs and maintenance as per repair order instructions
  • Advise the workshop foreman of any additional work required
  • Document all work performed, including cause and correction
  • Ensure customer vehicles are left in a clean and tidy condition
  • Supervise apprentice technicians and provide guidance and support
  • Operate tools and equipment safely and efficiently
  • Communicate with the parts department to obtain necessary parts
  • Attend dealership and service department meetings and online training
  • Maintain a clean and organized workshop area
Requirements:
  • Trade Certificate in Automotive or related field
  • Drivers License equivalent to role
  • Technical knowledge as per qualification specifications
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Organizational and time management skills
