We are seeking a skilled and qualified individual to fill the role of Automotive Refinisher. As an integral part of our team, you will be responsible for restoring vehicles to their pre-accident condition.
About the Role:- The successful candidate will be responsible for colour matching and mixing vehicle paint, as well as maintaining a colour library.
- You will also be required to prepare, prime, and paint vehicles in accordance with Job Sheet requirements following paint supplier's process.
- In addition, you will buff and denib vehicles to ensure a high-quality finish.
- You must handle all vehicles with care and attention, and notate any extra paintwork required that is not quoted for.
- It is essential to report any old damage or poor previous repairs to the production manager.
- Maintenance of a clean work bay and workshop area is also a crucial aspect of this role.
- As a coach, you will be responsible for mentoring apprentices when required.
- A trade qualification in Spray Painting is mandatory for this position.
- A minimum of 3 years experience working as a trade qualified Spray Painter is required.
- Strong commitment to working safely is essential.
- Excellent communication skills are necessary for effective collaboration with the team.
- A high level of attention to detail is required to meet strict deadlines.
- The ability to work reliably, punctually, and hardworking is essential for success in this role.
- Own tools are necessary to fulfill the role.
