We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Agreement Manager/Senior Agreement Manager to join our Grants Management Unit within the Australian Government.
Key Responsibilities- Manage grant agreements with varying levels of complexity and sensitivity, identifying potential risks and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, guidelines, and policy frameworks.
- Engage effectively with stakeholders regarding the management of grant agreements, including service delivery and provider capability risks, performance reports, and grant payment instalments.
- Identify emerging opportunities or issues and respond quickly to competing priorities.
- Develop and implement effective internal and external relationships, negotiate with stakeholders in complex matters, and resolve escalated issues.
- Supervise staff, develop staff, build team capacity through coaching, performance feedback, and encouraging career development.
- Cultural competency, including understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, cultures, and history.
- Ability to communicate sensitively and effectively with Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander peoples.
- Willingness and commitment to continue to develop cultural competency.
- Sound judgement and professionalism.
