We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Accountant to join our team at Lawson Elliott. This is a 4 month role with the prospect of going permanent. You will report to the Financial Manager and your responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting: Preparation and reviewing of month end reports, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
  • Accruals and Reconciliations: Accurately record and reconcile financial transactions, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Tax Compliance: Assist with tax compliance, ensuring all obligations are met and deadlines are adhered to.
  • Statutory Accounts: Prepare half and full year statutory accounts, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Audit Support: Work with internal and external auditors, providing necessary information and support to ensure a smooth audit process.
  • Ad-Hoc Activities: Support with a variety of ad-hoc activities, as required by the Financial Manager.

Requirements:

Qualifications and Experience: CA/CPA qualified with at least 10 years of experience in a commercial organisation.

Key Skills: Strong accounting foundations, intermediate Excel skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
