Warehouse and Logistics Role

Middy's is a leading electrical wholesaler with over 90 years of experience and a national network of 100 branches.

We are seeking an ambitious and motivated entry-level Storeperson / Driver to join our team in Bendigo (Golden Square). As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for:

  • Receiving and dispatching products and goods efficiently
  • Managing warehouse operations and driving duties
  • Delivering excellent customer service and support
  • Utilizing computers and technology to streamline processes
  • Maintaining a high level of professionalism and store presentation
  • Ensuring compliance with quality, health, safety, and environmental standards and policies

You will work closely with the Branch Manager and have opportunities for career advancement. We offer uniforms supplied, overtime, and in-house training programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Receipt and Dispatch: Receive and dispatch products and goods efficiently to meet customer needs
  • Warehouse Operations: Manage warehouse operations, including inventory management and stock control
  • Driving Duties: Perform safe and efficient driving duties, delivering products to customers and sites
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service and support, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly
  • Technology Utilization: Utilize computers and technology to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and enhance productivity
  • Store Presentation: Maintain a high level of professionalism and store presentation, ensuring a clean and organized workspace
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with quality, health, safety, and environmental standards and policies, promoting a safe and healthy work environment
