Job Description:

As a Detail Planner/Material Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth preparation and execution of work orders related to ductwork manufacture and installation.

Your primary focus will be on preparing detailed plans and coordinating with various teams to ensure timely completion of tasks.

You will need to analyze requirements, create detailed plans, and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery.

In this role, you will be working closely with the manufacturing team, warehouse staff, supervisors, and other planning team members to ensure efficient workflow.

Effective communication and problem-solving skills are essential in this position, as you will need to interface with multiple teams and resolve any issues that may arise during the project lifecycle.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you should possess excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Experience in a similar role is highly desirable, as well as Australian citizenship and pre-existing NV1 Security Clearance.

Maritime/Shipbuilding experience is also an advantage, but not essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work order preparation for both manufacture of ductwork and installation
  • Ensure material availability to satisfy work order
  • Create demand to Duct Manufacturer (sequence of manufacture)
  • Generate HVAC System work packs inclusive drawings, hour for task, material available
  • Issue work order packs inclusive hours to supervisor
  • Monitor achievement of work order to advise progress
  • Create call off from warehouse of duct and equipment for installation activity demand
  • Interface with duct manufacturer, warehouse, supervisors, wider planning team, and assist engineering liaison impact of change and coordinate resolutions.
