**Maritime Structural Engineer Opportunity**

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Maritime Structural Engineer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on large-scale maritime projects, including ports, harbours, coastal works, and marine structures.

As a Senior Maritime Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and planning activities for multi-discipline maritime facilities. You will apply your existing experience across different industries, such as defence, local government, state government, ports, and sustainability (hydrogen terminals).

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and planning activities for large-scale maritime facilities
  • Apply existing experience across different industries
  • Leverage structural analysis software skills (SPACE GASS, Strand 7, IDEAStatica)
  • Work with local governments, port clients, and Defence sector
  • Develop and implement design solutions for berthing and mooring systems
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 5-15 years of experience in structural design, reinforced concrete, and steel in the marine environment
  • Experience in design, evaluation, and reporting on ports, harbours, coastal works, and marine structures
  • Chartered Professional Engineer (or ability to get chartership within agreed timeframe)
  • Tertiary degree qualifications in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Eligibility for Australian Government security clearance
