About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic professional to join our team as a Diversional Therapist. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, delivering, and evaluating quality diversional therapy activities for a specified client group within a community health care setting.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of others. The role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with aged people and those living with dementia, and possess a strong understanding of primary health care principles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the planning, delivery, and evaluation of quality diversional therapy activities for a specified client group within a community health care setting.
  • Promote access and client involvement by participating in applicable community-based activities.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work both independently and as a member of our multidisciplinary team.
  • Experience in working with aged people and those living with dementia.
