Youth Mental Health Specialist

Our organization seeks a highly skilled Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our multidisciplinary team. As a specialist mental health service, we work closely with infants, children, young people and their parents and caregivers to provide comprehensive assessment, education and treatment for a range of mental difficulties.
- Key Responsibilities:
- To provide expert psychiatric assessments, diagnosis and treatment for children and adolescents experiencing mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, ADHD and other conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, incorporating evidence-based therapies and medication management as necessary.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals from various disciplines, including psychologists, social workers, occupational therapists and other specialists to ensure holistic care.
- Participate in case conferences and meetings to discuss complex cases, share knowledge and expertise, and coordinate care with other professionals.
- Maintain accurate records of patient interactions, progress and outcomes, ensuring adherence to organizational standards and protocols.

Requirements:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate complex information, identify solutions, and implement effective interventions.
