Job Title: Plant Mechanic

As a skilled mechanical professional, you will play a vital role in the maintenance and repair of heavy mobile plant equipment. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the optimal performance and safety of our fleet.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Carrying out routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment downtime
  • Diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical issues
  • Collaborating with colleagues to implement product improvement plans and support programs
  • Ensuring compliance with safe work practices and procedures

This role requires a strong passion for quality workmanship and continuous improvement principles. Previous experience working on Caterpillar products is highly desirable, but not essential. A demonstrated ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team environment is also essential.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Australian recognised Heavy Mobile Plant Trade Certificate or equivalent qualification
  • Proven mechanical experience, with a focus on heavy mobile plant equipment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
