Are you looking for the next step in your career? An exciting opportunity has opened up for a driven and motivated team member to join the D&D Technologies Operations team as a plastic injection moulding Die Setter, based at Frenchs Forest NSW.

Responsibilities
  • Start up and shut down machine & driers as per company's procedure
  • Change dies and inserts and make adjustments as needed
  • Use crane to set and remove dies from machines
  • Cycle the machine to produce good parts
  • Check parts for proper tolerances, surface blemishes, etc. and make adjustments to compensate for irregularities
  • Set and adjust machines until target parameters for part have been achieved and seek to minimize reject rate
  • Be dedicated to learning from others and share skills and knowledge
  • Responsible for meeting quality standards
  • Accurate recording of production records (production settings, waste, etc.)
  • Ensuring compliance with OH&S, regulatory, and ISO 9001:2015 requirements
Qualifications & Licences
  • Tool Maker / Die Setter / Moulder
  • Any equivalent combination of experience in Setting Dies, training and/or education as an Injection moulding die setter / moulder is an advantage
  • Current Australian Driver's Licence and Forklift Licence
Experience
  • At least 5 years' experience in a similar Injection Moulding Machine Die Setter role within a manufacturing or industrial setting with strong mechanical background
Technical Skills
  • Ability to use Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Solid understanding of maintenance practices and production priorities
  • Knowledge of safety standards and equipment regulatory requirements

  • Clear and effective communicator with great interpersonal skills
  • A team player who supports colleagues and takes pride in their role
  • Detail-oriented, organised, and capable of prioritising tasks under pressure
