Mobile Workshop Specialist

Role Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Mobile Workshop Specialist who is interested in becoming a team leader to oversee daily workshop operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and work alongside a team of technicians to ensure efficient workshop processes.
  • Oversee daily operations to maintain high-quality standards and workplace efficiency.
  • Ensure all processes comply with industry regulations and guidelines.
  • Manage stock control, including ordering materials and maintaining inventory levels for service needs.
  • Develop and implement effective procedures to optimize productivity.
  • Liaise regularly with colleagues regarding stock and production requirements.
  • Assist with internal and external audit processes.
  • Complete invoicing, purchase ordering, and maintain associated documentation.
  • Maintain accurate records and paperwork.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a small team.
  • Good understanding of industry standards relevant to fire equipment servicing.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to manage stock control processes effectively.
  • Competent with internal invoicing, purchase ordering, and general administration.
  • Strong focus on quality, safety, and efficiency.
  • Australian citizenship or permanent residency.
Experience:
  • Previous experience in a workshop or production environment, preferably in a supervisory or team leader role.
  • Familiarity with fire protection equipment servicing is highly desirable but not essential.
