Assistant Venue Manager Job Description

At Frontline Hospitality Melbourne East, we are seeking an experienced and skilled Assistant Venue Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our gaming facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage Gaming Operations: Oversee the gaming room, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Maintain Gaming Facilities: Monitor and maintain gaming equipment and facilities to provide a safe and enjoyable environment for patrons.
  • Lead Gaming Staff: Train, schedule, and support gaming staff to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Support Venue Manager: Assist the Venue Manager in daily operations, including overseeing the dining area, bar, and other guest-related activities.
  • Develop Promotions: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute promotions and events to attract new gaming customers.
  • Handle Customer Inquiries: Respond to customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly and professionally.
  • Uphold Hospitality Standards: Maintain the highest standards of hospitality and enforce policies to guarantee guest satisfaction and safety.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of gaming activities, financial transactions, and compliance documentation.
  • Inventory Management: Support the Venue Manager in maintaining inventory and ordering supplies as needed.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Proven experience in managing gaming facilities or equivalent gaming experience.
  • Licenses: Must possess all required licenses (RSA, RSG Modules).
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage staff and interact with guests.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities to handle various responsibilities efficiently.
  • Customer Focus: A customer-focused mindset with a dedication to providing exceptional service.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Knowledge of local regulations and laws related to gaming activities.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as per the demands of the business.
