
Perioperative Unit Manager Leader

This is a full-time permanent leadership role that oversees the daily running of the perioperative unit, coordinates patient care, and directs staff allocation to maintain efficient operations in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and coordinate the daily activities of the perioperative unit, including staff management and resource allocation.
- Coordinate patient care by sharing information with key stakeholders and monitoring unit efficiencies.
- Multitask effectively, work within tight deadlines, and motivate a team to achieve common goals.
- Provide guidance and support to staff on anaesthetic and scrub scout principles as well as PACU skills.
- Ensure compliance with NSQHS standards and hospital policies and procedures.
- Excellent clinical, time management, organisational, and communication skills, with the ability to adapt and problem solve.
- A compassionate, flexible, and positive approach to patient care and management.
- The ability to foster friendly, respectful relationships and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
