Under the Defence Maintenance Contract, we provide essential support to Defence units, ensuring that equipment is ready for operations and exercises. Our comprehensive services include maintenance, repair, and inspections of sophisticated Defence assets, ensuring they remain in optimal condition.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Site Manager to lead the performance and execution of maintenance and project services for Defence equipment. This permanent, full-time role will involve overseeing daily operations to meet contract performance goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster a collaborative relationship with clients, regularly reporting on expectations.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Oversee training and development for team members.
  • Support and drive change initiatives.
  • Ensure adherence to best practices in safety and quality.
  • Provide data and analytics to inform stakeholders and identify risks.
  • Explore opportunities for innovation and enhancement.
  • Manage financial aspects, including strict budget adherence and cost reporting.

Candidate Profile:

  • Demonstrated management and leadership experience in a workshop setting.
  • Background in Defence is highly regarded.
  • Trade qualifications or relevant maintenance experience are advantageous.
  • Ability to engage and motivate technical staff and subcontractors.
  • Proven project management capabilities.
  • Strong communication skills, including report writing and negotiation.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Valid driver's license.

Applicants must be Australian Citizens and capable of maintaining a Defence clearance, as well as passing an Australian Federal Police Check.
