We are seeking a skilled AGV software engineer to join our team.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a graduate with strong programming skills to develop and maintain critical software for AGV robots in warehouses, distribution centres, and factories across the APAC region.
- Supporting, maintaining, developing, and upgrading AGV software to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborating with senior engineers on condition monitoring, breakdown support, software development, and implementation of upgrades, system improvements, and changes.
- Providing customer-facing support, requiring strong technical and interpersonal skills to resolve complex issues.
- Occasional travel as directed by business needs.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Tertiary Degree qualifications in Computer Science, Mechatronic or Electrical Engineering (dual degrees highly regarded), and/or excellent academic records.
- Strong interest and skills in programming/software development, particularly in C# and SQL programming languages.
- Customer service experience and good interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of configuration, programming, and commissioning of PLCs (advantageous, can be trained on-the-job).
- Strong technical writing ability.
- Strong problem-solving ability.
- Excellent time management and prioritising skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Dependable, mature-minded, proactive team player.
