Graduate AGV Engineer role involves delivering automated guided vehicle solutions, working on-site, and collaborating with a global leader in automation and robotics.

Your Role

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring quality and system processes within assigned projects
  • Preparing AGV functionality and technical specifications
  • Developing system design and programming of AGV systems
  • Assisting in AGV system testing, integration, and factory testing
  • Supporting installation specifications
  • Testing and integration of AGV and PLC systems
  • Commissioning AGVs on-site
  • Managing project costs and schedules
  • Participating in operator training
  • Contributing to the development and improvement of AGV project delivery
About You

What you'll need:

  • Degree in Mechatronics Engineering or Electrical Engineering
  • Recent graduate or 1-2 years experience
  • Knowledge of PLC configuration, programming, and commissioning
  • Basic programming skills (PLC Structured Text, SICK Devices, C or C++ highly desirable)
  • Experience with networking, monitoring, diagnosis, and troubleshooting
  • Experience in electrical design using AutoCAD or similar 2D and 3D drawing packages
  • Experience with automation or materials handling highly desirable
  • Strong communication skills
  • Hunger and ability to learn
