Room Manager Role
- The ideal candidate for this role will possess a diploma in early childhood education and care or an equivalent qualification.
- A current Provide an Emergency First Aid response in an Education and Care Setting qualification is also required.
- Additionally, the individual must hold a current ACECQA approved Anaphylaxis and emergency asthma management training certificate.
Leadership Experience
- Previous experience in a leadership capacity within the early childhood education sector is highly valued.
Strong knowledge of relevant legislation including the Early Years Learning Framework, Education and Care Services National Law (2010), and the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011) is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operation of assigned rooms, providing guidance and support to educators and staff within the team.
- Collaborate with educational leaders to develop, implement, and reflect on educational programs that deliver high-quality outcomes for children and families.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with children, families, educators, staff, and management to drive best practice and achieve optimal outcomes.
In the absence of the director/nominated supervisor, assume responsibilities as per the Responsible Person policy and procedure to ensure seamless day-to-day service management.
