We are seeking an experienced geophysicist to unlock the Earth's resources by processing, modeling, and interpreting diverse geophysical datasets. Your expertise will be crucial in providing insightful geophysical support and technical guidance to both internal teams and external partners.

As a geophysicist, you will work with our clients, leading mineral exploration companies across the world, to analyse subsurface data and generate robust subsurface representations. You will directly contribute to the success of customer exploration programs through your specialised knowledge and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse subsurface data for mineral exploration using various geophysical techniques
  • Compile reports and presentations on geophysical datasets, effectively communicating key findings and insights
  • Evaluate the performance of various analysis techniques to optimise data processing and interpretation workflows
  • Develop and implement geophysical inversions, including model building, to generate robust subsurface representations
  • Process and interpret geophysical data utilising in-house software to extract meaningful geological information

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Geophysics
  • Minimum of 3 years experience as a Mineral Exploration Geophysicist
  • Strong understanding and practical application of various geophysical techniques (e.g., Magnetotellurics (MT), magnetic, seismic etc) with Electromagnetic being ideal
  • Proficiency in processing and interpreting geophysical data
  • Experience in developing and implementing geophysical inversions and model building
  • Strong skills in Python for data analysis, scripting, and automation of geophysical workflows
  • Demonstrated ability to compile clear and concise reports on geophysical datasets
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
  • Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in mineral exploration geophysics
  • Experience providing technical advice and support to internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information effectively to diverse audiences
