A key role in our team is available for a
Senior Geophysicist
with expertise in unlocking the Earth's resources by processing, modeling, and interpreting geophysical datasets. This expert will work closely with leading mineral exploration companies across the world to help them make informed decisions about their projects.
Job Description
We are looking for a highly skilled geophysicist who can interpret and apply geophysical techniques to analyse subsurface data for mineral exploration. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing and implementing geophysical inversions and model building, as well as proficiency in processing and interpreting geophysical data.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Interpreting and applying geophysical techniques to analyse subsurface data for mineral exploration.
Compiling reports and presentations on geophysical datasets, effectively communicating key findings and insights.
Evaluating the performance of various analysis techniques to optimise data processing and interpretation workflows.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must have:
A Bachelor's degree or higher in Geophysics.
A minimum of 3 years experience as a Mineral Exploration Geophysicist.
Strong understanding and practical application of various geophysical techniques (e.g., Magnetotellurics (MT), magnetic, seismic etc) with Electromagnetic being ideal.
Proficiency in processing and interpreting geophysical data.
Experience in developing and implementing geophysical inversions and model building.
