About the Role

The Asset Management Strategy Lead is a key position within our client's organization, responsible for overseeing asset management strategies and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. This role involves governance of complex regulatory submissions, overseeing capital and maintenance programs, and improving asset management practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Price Reset Process Management: Manage and govern price reset processes, including EDPR, TRR, and GAAR, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with asset management rules and regulations, and address any impacts on the business.
  • Capital and Maintenance Program Oversight: Oversee the delivery of capital and maintenance programs within budget and time constraints.
  • Technical Issue Resolution: Develop and implement solutions for complex technical issues.
  • Process Improvement: Drive process improvements and update strategic documentation.
  • Technical Guidance: Provide technical guidance and respond to stakeholder queries.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure consistent quality assurance across networks and mentor junior engineers.
  • Regulatory Obligations: Ensure network compliance with technical regulatory obligations.
Requirements
  • Educational Background: Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience: 10+ years in electrical engineering and asset management, with a strong background in regulatory submissions. Experience in utility, energy, or asset management is highly desirable.
  • Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of technical and economic regulations governing electrical networks.
  • Project Management: Proven skills in project management and stakeholder management.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to think strategically, solve complex problems, and drive results.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and negotiation skills, with a track record of effective stakeholder engagement.
