Child and Family Health Nursing Role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to support families with moderate levels of vulnerability from mid-pregnancy until their child is two years of age.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Offer nurse-led home visiting program for families using a strengths-based approach, enhancing parent-infant relationships and children's development.
  • Foster positive parent-child attachment and engage with families in a multidisciplinary allied health team to promote holistic care.
Requirements:
  • Current Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) registration as a Registered Nurse and a recognised post-graduate Child & Family Health Nursing qualification.
  • Experience working with vulnerable families and demonstrated understanding of early intervention strategies.
  • Demonstrated effective clinical communication through the use of information technology and strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
