Our team is seeking a highly skilled tax consultant to join our dynamic and fun environment.
We work on significant transactions in the Australian market, covering a breadth of industries including private equity, infrastructure, property, financial services, and more.
As a tax consultant, you will be responsible for identifying duty and land tax exposures, structuring mergers and acquisitions, and providing advice on tax planning opportunities.
You will also be required to stay up-to-date with developments in state taxes and regulatory updates.
Your Key Responsibilities:- Assist clients in managing tax risks and compliance.
- Advise on duty consequences of mergers and acquisitions.
- Identify duty obligations and assist in preparing submissions.
- Conduct tax research and provide advice on tax planning opportunities.
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Accounting, Commerce, Economics, or equivalent.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Able to demonstrate attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
