Incident Response Specialist

This role involves incident investigation, root cause analysis, and process automation in a CSIRT team. Key responsibilities include monitoring, detecting, and responding to InfoSec threats.
- Triage, containment, and remediation of cybersecurity incidents and threats.
- Conducting root cause analysis and producing IR reports with actionable insights.
- Collecting, preserving, and analyzing evidence from endpoints, networks, and cloud environments.
The ideal candidate should have proven incident response experience, a background in digital forensics, and expertise with SIEM, EDR, and forensic tools.
Additional Requirements- Threat hunting skills with query development abilities.
- Ability to translate orchestration documents into SOAR playbooks.
- Scripting skills are advantageous.
- Knowledge of cloud security and incident response in cloud environments.
A strong understanding of enterprise settings, dispersed teams, and effective stakeholder management is also required. Australian Citizenship and the ability to obtain NV1 clearance are mandatory.
