Job Description

This role involves conducting inspections and investigations to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and council policies.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting food and public health inspections in accordance with relevant legislation and council policies.
  • Responding to and investigating environmental, food safety and/or public health incidents and preparing evidence for enforcement action where there has been non-compliance with legislation;
  • Providing technical advice to businesses and the general public on matters of environmental, food and/or public health activities;
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Environmental Health/Science, or minimum 12 months equivalent work experience.
