Game Development Specialist

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will assist in the creation and development of slot games, contributing ideas for initial concepts, designing mathematical models, performing payback calculations, and running simulations to verify correctness. Primary responsibilities include creating submission documents for gaming regulatory bodies.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assist in creating new game concepts that maximize player appeal and performance.
  • Design innovative math models for poker machine games.
  • Perform calculations for assigned games, including base game/free games, bonus features, and payback percentages.
  • Create programming tools to verify math models and analyze gameplay characteristics.
  • Prepare Excel spreadsheets for regulatory submission.
  • Review calculations for correctness and adherence to standards.
  • Develop new mathematical methods and improve existing ones.
Requirements:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in mathematics, particularly probability and statistics. Proficiency in Excel is essential, as well as excellent communication skills to convey complex mathematical concepts.

A bachelor's degree with a strong mathematical component is required, with an emphasis on probability and statistics or equivalent experience.

The role does not involve supervisory responsibilities, but rather works independently within a team environment.
