Job Summary

The Australian Defence Force is seeking a highly skilled Training Systems Officer to provide expert advice on the application of the Air Force Training System. As a key member of the Training System Team, you will work closely with subject matter experts to analyse, design, and evaluate training to meet workplace needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Consult with military/civilian training staff, external service providers, and students to identify training needs and develop training solutions.
  • Conduct training analysis and design training courses to meet workplace requirements.
  • Facilitate the development and implementation of training, including quality control and validation against workplace needs.
  • Provide advice on course evaluation and training technologies, including e-learning and other technology-based training methods.
  • Manage instructors and training developers to ensure high-quality training outcomes.

Requirements

  • Expert knowledge of the Air Force Training System and its application.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify training needs and develop effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
