The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure & Cyber Lead to join our Technology team based in Perth. As a key member of our team, you will take a leadership position and become a Subject Matter Expert in our organisation, collaborating closely with the broader Technology team to shape and execute the technical infrastructure required to operate and secure our business.

This is a hands-on role where you will be unafraid of challenges and be willing to research, trial, and learn from failures to resolve problems. You'll be a team player who seeks help when needed and can also guide and mentor the helpdesk team to provide better first and second-level support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of our technical infrastructure strategy.
  • Collaborate with the Systems Engineer to ensure that all endpoints are securely managed.
  • Provide expert advice on network and communication infrastructure.
  • Develop and maintain business cases to support future technology investment.
  • Manage workload and prioritize tasks effectively.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in a senior role.
  • Degree in IT / Computer Science, Tafe Diploma.
  • Proficiency in network protocols, security, and monitoring tools.
  • Experience dealing with Cisco Networking and Compute Hardware, Palo Alto (Firewalls, Panorma & Cortex), VMWare, and Microsoft Server environment.
  • Experience with working in Hybrid Cloud / On Prem environments (AWS & Azure).
  • Experience working with Cyber Security frameworks, particularly NiST.
  • Experience with segmenting networks to secure core operational systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Advanced knowledge in systems infrastructure, networking, monitoring, and supporting tools.
  • Network & System Monitoring tools.
  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of troubleshooting techniques, attention to detail, initiative, accountability, and a sense of ownership.
  • Keeping up to date with infrastructure technologies, security, and trends within the industry.
  • Ability to put together business cases to support future technology investment
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and manage workload.
  • Ability to work collaboratively, as part of a team.
  • Ability to work unsupervised and deliver initiatives on time and budget.
  • Possession of a current Class C Driver's Licence.
