About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Architect Lead to join our team at HBF Australia.

As a key member of our Cyber Security team, you will play a pivotal role in driving our security posture and ensuring that security is embedded across all change activities.

You will lead the development and enhancement of our Cyber Security Architecture Capability, collaborating closely with stakeholders, partners, and teams to achieve effective security outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing leadership to the Cyber Security team, working with the Head of Cyber Security
  • Developing, enhancing, and maintaining the Cyber Security Architecture Capability
  • Collaborating with stakeholders and teams to achieve security outcomes
  • Translating policy frameworks and regulatory requirements into tangible designs
  • Acting as a trusted advisor on Cyber Security matters across the organisation
  • Mentoring colleagues on best practices in Cyber Security architecture
  • Contributing to the development of architecture principles and security standards
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in Cyber Security Architecture, Solution Architecture, or Enterprise Architecture roles
  • A strong understanding of Cyber Security architecture in an enterprise environment
  • Experience in designing and implementing security controls, particularly in cloud environments
  • Knowledge of industry standards and frameworks (NIST CSF, CPS234, etc.)
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or Cyber Security
  • Industry certifications (CISSP, CISA, CISM, etc.) are highly regarded
