We have an exciting opportunity for a professional with exceptional commercial acumen to join our team as a Sponsored Revenue Growth Manager. This senior role involves driving new revenue streams through innovative sponsorship strategies and building high-impact partnerships.
This is a critical position that requires a commercially savvy individual with the ability to sell big ideas, turn relationships into results, and drive business growth. While experience in rights-holder sales is not essential, you will need to be a strategic thinker who can identify opportunities, shape narratives, and manage complex deals or stakeholder relationships from end to end.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and executing sponsored revenue growth strategies that deliver measurable value.
- Owning end-to-end sales processes for new partnerships and providing high-level support for account management to grow current partners.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure compelling and valuable partnership proposals that meet business objectives.
- Shaping strategic narratives and managing complex deals or stakeholder relationships from start to finish.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Tertiary qualifications in business, commerce, law, marketing, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in a commercial, consulting, legal, finance, or strategic role with evidence of strong progression.
- A strong understanding of how businesses operate and make decisions, with the ability to translate this into compelling sponsorship propositions.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust with internal and external stakeholders.
- A proven ability to identify commercial opportunities, shape strategic narratives, and manage complex deals or stakeholder relationships end to end.
- Highly developed stakeholder management capabilities, with the ability to work cross-functionally and align diverse teams around common goals.
- An ability to adapt in dynamic environments and balance multiple priorities without compromising quality or impact.
- A team-first mindset with a strong work ethic and personal accountability.
- Strong written and visual presentation skills, with the ability to distil complex ideas into clear, persuasive narratives.
- A passion for sport and a desire to contribute to its growth and development.
