Job Title: E-Learning Specialist

 

This is a hybrid role that involves managing and creating resources for classes, as well as migrating current resources to a new online platform. The role offers flexibility to work from home and in the office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop training materials for face-to-face, online, and distance delivery in a VET environment.
  • Develop resources or scenarios and activities for training materials.
  • Manage training resources and their contextualisation to job seeker, employed, and trainee cohorts.
  • Evaluate and ensure compliance across three Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) for training and assessment materials.
  • Align training materials with units of competency at the correct AQF level.
  • Work with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure resources use correct terminology and concepts.
  • Quality assure resources.
  • Develop online content from existing resources.
  • Create forms and documents as required.
  • Ensure training resources are pre-validated and ready for delivery.
  • Write documents and reports as needed.
  • Support general administration tasks for the Director and CEO as required.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in developing high-quality training materials and resources for diverse cohorts.
  • Experience in both eLearning and face-to-face classroom content development.
  • Current TAE40116 qualification and 5+ years of training experience.
  • Ability to map units of competency to training materials.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Able to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Training Design and Development.
  • Experience with Adobe Captivate or similar programs for training development.
  • Experience working with domestic student RTOs.
