Senior Electrical and Mechanical Systems Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical and Mechanical Systems Engineer to join our team in Australia for existing and future projects. The successful candidate will have experience in commissioning or facility engineering, preferably working in data centre/health sectors.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, including equipment inspections, Factory Witness Test/Factory Acceptance Tests, and the ability to work with various software and technologies.

Candidates should also have experience with structural engineering, steel, concrete, pre-stressed concrete, advanced finite element modeling, computer modeling, load rating, design codes, geotechnical engineering, spectral analysis, finite element analysis, Matlab, seismic design, steel design, ETABS, earthquake engineering, foundation springs, response-spectrum analysis, pushover analysis, retaining walls, noise barriers, steel truss catwalks, gangways, LPILE, spColumn, AutoCAD, SAP2000, structural dynamics, prestressed concrete, structural mechanics, structural analysis, civil engineering, Abaqus, load rating, MathCAD, PGSuper, structural stability, RISA, ANSYS, soil-structure interaction analysis, network security, endpoint protection, identity management, configuration, cloud migration, continuous diagnostic mitigation, firewall, security engineer, VPN, virtual private network, engineering, IT hardware, electrical systems maintenance, fuel systems, and fire protection.

Requirements

  • Higher education qualifications (university or TAFE)
  • Green Star AP, LEED AP, CSA or LEED Associate highly advantageous
  • Proven experience in commissioning or facility engineering
  • Experience with equipment inspections, Factory Witness Test/Factory Acceptance Tests
  • Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems
