Role Overview

We are seeking an analytical and commercially-minded individual to join our global planning team on a 6-month contract. This pivotal role involves maintaining accurate forecasts, aligning production plans with business needs, and ensuring timely stock availability across international operations.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage demand and supply for assigned product categories across multiple global markets.
  • Maintain and update rolling 18-month forecasts (volume and gross sales) using Excel and S&OP inputs.
  • Lead demand planning meetings, ensuring alignment across Commercial, Marketing, and Production teams.
  • Place weekly replenishment orders based on forecasted demand and production capacity.
  • Liaise with factories and suppliers to communicate forecast changes and ensure timely delivery.
  • Track and own key KPIs including DIFOT, forecast accuracy, and inventory levels.
  • Support New Product Development (NPD) and Existing Product Development (EPD) planning.
  • Partner with Finance to provide accurate SKU volumes for revenue forecasting and business planning.
  • Drive ongoing process improvements across forecasting, inventory optimisation, and supply chain systems.
Key Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years' experience in demand/supply planning, ideally within the retail or furniture sectors.
  • Advanced Excel skills and working knowledge of SQL and Power BI.
  • Confidence managing inventory across global distribution centres and balancing stock levels.
  • Highly analytical and detail-driven, with a proven ability to interpret and action large data sets.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to influence decisions through data-driven insights.
  • Australian citizen or permanent resident with full working rights.
