Job Description

This role provides a significant contribution to the implementation of risk management practices to support effective enterprise risk management across the organisation. The successful candidate will have variety in their duties and multiple tasks to complete, ensuring no two days are the same.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Working with stakeholders involved in delivery of capital projects to assist in the development of a positive risk-aware culture;
  • Supporting the implementation and continuous improvement of the risk management framework in accordance with relevant regulatory requirements;
  • Assisting in the preparation and facilitation of risk assessment workshops and managing risk registers;
  • Creating reports to inform executive decision making;
  • Providing support to the Enterprise Risk Lead by supporting the timely identification and response to risk;
  • Maintaining risk profiles in the risk database;
  • Aiding in the implementation of safe work practices;
  • Supporting the growth and development of the Risk Champions;
  • Participating in safety audits and inspections;

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Tertiary qualification;
  • Proven ability to influence others;
  • Strong communication abilities;
  • Prior risk management experience;
  • Demonstrated capacity to build and maintain partnerships;
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of external and internal stakeholders;
  • Effectively able to manage and prioritise workload to meet competing deadlines;
  • Excellent team player;
  • Driver's license and ability to travel.
