Job Summary:

The role of a Financial Accountant involves producing and preparing monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with established accounting standards, laws, and guidelines. This includes managing the coordination of monthly tasks, such as preparation and entry of journals, account reconciliations, and reports.

Key Responsibilities include maintaining the agency's asset register, providing expert advice and support across the organization on asset management practices, promoting sound financial stewardship, and compliance with relevant frameworks. Additionally, preparing debt management reports for senior management and coordinating with audit requests from external auditors are essential duties.
