Product Strategist

Role Overview:

You will play a key role in defining and delivering product roadmaps that meet customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and prioritize product initiatives to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and design solutions that meet their needs.
  • Develop detailed specifications for product features to guide software development teams.
  • Own the product initiative delivery, defining scope, solution design, and prioritizing tasks to ensure alignment with the scope of the product initiatives.
  • Participate in Agile meetings, providing business direction to the team and working with cross-functional teams to plan product releases.
  • Maintain clear and documented product roadmap Kanban and stories.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications or relevant experience in Business Analysis or Product Ownership.
  • Demonstrated experience in scoping product initiatives, defining MVPs, writing and prioritizing user stories, and defining acceptance criteria.
  • Creating detailed design specifications and user guides/training guides.
  • Working on business-critical systems.
  • Critically analysing system integrations and dependencies to formulate logical solutions.
  • Agile methodologies and managing various internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proactively working with stakeholders to understand needs, receive feedback, and demonstrate new functionality.
